Why We Started Working for Animals – A True Story from the Heart
One day, as I was returning home by car, I noticed a group of small puppies on the road. I honked the horn gently, hoping they would move, but they didn’t. Concerned, I parked the car, opened the gate, and walked toward them. As I reached the spot, I saw a heartbreaking scene—one of the baby dogs was lying motionless in the middle of the road. Looking closely, I noticed the tire marks on its neck. It became clear that someone had run over the poor pup with a bike.
Nearby, the mother dog sat quietly with her remaining five newborn puppies, barely one or two days old. They were huddled together, crying in distress. That moment shook me deeply. I felt a strong realization: Why do we do this? These innocent animals also have families, emotions, and feelings—just like us. Just because they cannot speak doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to live safely in our society.
These animals eat only what we offer them. And if we truly observe them, we will see how sweet, kind, and loving they are. If we worry for our own families, don’t they deserve the same care and protection for theirs? We may not be helping them, but we certainly have no right to take away their happiness or cause them harm.
That incident happened two years ago, but even today, whenever I think about it, I get goosebumps. It changed something inside me. I imagined—what if this happened to someone in my family? How would I feel?
From that day onward, I made a promise—with myself and with my organisation—that we will care for and protect these voiceless beings as our own family. We started providing food, shelter, medical care, and love to animals in need. It became our mission to be their voice, their strength, and their support.
We request all readers to reflect on this: Animals are not just creatures—they are living beings with families, emotions, and a right to live with dignity. Caring for them is not only a kind act; it is our social responsibility.
Let us come together to protect and care for our fellow beings. Your support can change lives—because compassion belongs to everyone, not just humans.
